Mark Stouwdam

is a singer, songwriter and actor from the Netherlands. Born in Enschede/Overijssel. He started his musical journey by playing violin and growing up amidst the a capella sounds of The King’s Singers and the Swingle Singers. It wasn’t until later that he discovered the joy of singing and the delight of being on stage, joining a musical theatre group as a teenager. Here he found his love for musicals and decided to study jazz singing at the conservatory of Enschede, where he was taught by Adrienne West from 1997 until 2001. From this time on he sang, danced and acted in numerous musical theatre productions in the Netherlands and in Germany. Mark’s voice is often described as warm and silky.
